Troubleshooting MS Office activation error

After accepting the Office license agreement, sometimes an error window like below appears.

This error can occur due to security to prevent unauthorized use of keys, even if you are actually using a brand new key. You can easily resolve this issue by following the steps below.

First, select "I want to activate the software by telephone" and click Next.

When the window like above appears, write down the 63-digit Installation ID(IID). Do not close this window, and access the following website:

When you first visit the site, please click 'Logout' in the top right corner to log out.

Log in with the 'Troubleshooting ID / PW' that were sent to you by email along with the product key from Winstall.

Enter the 63-digit Installation ID you wrote down earlier in the upper field, then click 'Get Confirmation ID.'

When the Confirmation ID(CID) appears as shown above, write it down and return to the Excel or Word window.

Enter the Confirmation ID you wrote down, then click the 'Next' button.

If the window above appears, click 'Close'.
All activation steps are now completed.
